Summary
This is — not what Quentin was going for, actually. But it might be— better? “Um— I’ve never—”
Before he can finish, Eliot spanks him again. “Then I’m honored—” he bends down over Quentin, leaning his weight on Quentin’s shoulders, holding him firmly in place, fuck— “—to be the first person to ever introduce you to the consequences of your actions.”

Summary
In a perfect world, he would step outside the wards to grab a coffee and maybe a sandwich before crossing to the library on the far side of the campus to get started on grading these papers. In reality, of course, he’s a thirty-three–year-old man who lives with roommates, October rent is due, and the Baba Yaga waits for no one, so he heads to the bike rack outside Whittaker, turns on some Interpol, and unlocks his bike, thinking: I have got to fucking move.
(Or: Five years later, Quentin tries to get some work done.)

Summary
Buffy says, "No, but see, the thing is that good things look a lot like good things until you find out they're bad things, and I am really just full-up on bad things forever, thanks. Only lukewarm things for Buffy."
"That's the spirit, B!" Faith claps Buffy hard on the back, spilling some of William's coffee onto her shoes. "Let ole Willy warm ya up."
"Extremely not what I meant," says Buffy.AKA: The one where Buffy works at a coffee shop and William is her favorite customer.

Summary
“Life is probabilistic,” Julia says. “Each life is rooted in its surrounding subjectivities. We don’t need to bring all of him back. We couldn’t, because there is no all of him anymore. But we can bring a piece of him — and another — and another — and if we get enough pieces, then our own consciousness will unite them. We can — fill in the gaps, like your mind does when you’re looking at a constellation.”
“Or a mosaic,” Eliot says quietly. Thinking about what he had learned there: that the beauty of all life existed in the spaces between.
Alice looks at him. “Yeah. Like that.”
(Or: A story about bringing Quentin(s) back to life.)

Summary
In short, Quentin — neurotic, depressive, insecure, inexperienced, nerdy, dyspeptic Quentin Coldwater — fucked more or less like any other red-blooded American male between the ages of seventeen and twenty-nine.
Eliot could not begin to explain why he found this… so excruciatingly hot.
(Or: Eliot wants to be helpful. Quentin wants to get tied up. A story about things which can get tangled.)
