Oliver dug, and dug, and dug. He expected the tendril to follow. That's why it brought him here, was it not? The job had to be finished. But it just dangled awkwardly into the small pit Oliver had created, never becoming more solid.
The hole was about a meter deep now. Oliver was debating making it wider so he could fit when he hit something.
