Summary
It's a sight to behold, twenty-five athletes of the highest caliber and the men entrusted to guide them to victory, all doing a dance slightly reminiscent of the Legally Blonde Bend and Snap.

Summary
“I’ve spent most of my adult life being defined by the things that men say about me. They’ve controlled the narrative and I’ve let them, in fear that by speaking up the hatred towards me would multiply. But I'm done with being maligned and letting my story be misconstrued. This biography is about the woman I am because of those men and in spite of them.”
Inspired by The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

Summary
“I just don’t think I’m ready to share it, this beautiful thing we’ve got going, with the world yet. Because when the world knows, then it thinks it gets a say, and I don’t want to hear anything the world has to say about you and I.”
“I agree with you a hundred percent, darlin’,” Ted reassured her, moving so that he could cup her cheek gently and run his thumb against her cheekbone. “But you kinda lost me on what that has to do with what you’re wearing today.” He admitted.

Summary
"So if I can figure out an arrangement that only involves coaching staff that were around during Ted's time here, you'd be open to that?"
"If you can get those involved to agree to it, I'd be willing to consider it." She's clearly placating him, doesn't think he can come up with anything beyond all the options they've already considered. But that's fine. He just needed to know that she's still open to new ideas.

Summary
The kitten leapt off Ted’s shoulders and onto Rebecca’s desk, sending her pen cup flying. Then he marched across the glass desktop, meowing softly with each step toward Rebecca.
Her eyes went wide as the orange ball of fur turned and nuzzled its face against her arm. A loud purr filled her office, like a teeny tiny chainsaw revving up.
Ted’s face broke into a wide smile. “Oh, he likes you.”
Rebecca’s expression softened, a smile tugging at her lips.
“It’s quite sweet, isn’t it?”
Or Ted finds a kitten in the AFC Richmond parking lot.

Summary
Maybe it's her grief. Maybe it's the way she feels just that much closer to something frightening and cosmic right now. Or maybe that in-tune feeling, the one that used to jar her, is still there, untampered with despite time and distance.
It doesn't matter, whatever it is. The point is she feels it. Who knows how, or even really where, exactly, she's feeling it, but beneath this overwhelming persistent fear, something shifts when he steps into the church behind her.

Summary
Rebecca Welton got two things in the divorce: her ex-husband’s football club and a small art collection. After deciding to not run the football club into the ground, all there’s left to do is to get rid of the art. Luckily, there are plenty of art galleries in London, and the Theodore Lasso Gallery turns out to be just what she needs in more ways than she could have predicted.
