Many hybrids hid their features, not wanting to be seen as something much more menacing that what they really were, but some, even with the amount of judgment, embraced those parts, despite what judgment that might bring them."
The streets aren't the best place for a teen to be, even more so when that teen is trying to hide the fact that he is a hybrid from the public.
It's easy to say that things aren't going great for Tommy when he finally gets confronted about his stealing at the market.
Nor is it great for a certain avian who cannot get his mind off the teen.
