“Is he your boyfriend?”
Hawks shook his head.
“Just a fling,” he took a few gulps of his drink, trying to finish the can.
“Do you have a lot of those?” Touya questioned, observing his every move thoroughly. Hawks didn’t answer him right away which left room for Touya to ask another question, “Can I be one?”
It was the second the words left his lips when Hawks started coughing. He put the can down and hit his chest a few times before managing to catch his breath again.
“Sorry, what did you say?” He had both his eyebrows arched, not believing the words he had just heard. Touya averted his eyes, it was awkward to see a can of soda nearly killing the number two hero of the nation. Touya looked awkwardly away for a bit before meeting Hawks’s eyes again.
“Can we be a fling?” he repeated himself, speaking significantly softer than he had before.
Hawks frowned confused before he scoffed.
“Does that line work for you?” he dared to grab the soda again.
“Not really,” Touya muttered. “I am a virgin so…I don’t think it works, but I haven’t tried it before either.”
