Two broken stars in a decaying orbit, passing closer and closer together until the inevitable, devastating collision.
Or, Tav is fucked up and down bad for Astarion, who doesn't quite see the appeal (but he's getting there). Sexual frustration, sloppy handjobs, a heavy dose of masochism, and way too many failed Insight checks ahead. Tav falls first, Astarion falls harder (eventually).
Or, a tragic-but-hopeful romance told through a series of incredibly ill-advised sexual encounters.
If you want to read a story where Astarion is sweet from the start and Tav is here to fix him, this isn't the one. If you want to read about two terribly broken men spending a good long while making each other worse before they make each other better, this might be for you. If you thought the in-game romance was a little too easy and it should have been ten times more painful and difficult to convince Astarion he's worthy of love, this is definitely for you.
Set during the canonical events of Baldur's Gate 3.

Summary
Lorelei, a rogue half-elf, who has worked alone most of her life, finds herself as the leader in this search for a cure to their tadpole problem. She robs tombs for a living and now she leads a fight against gods - needless to say she’s in over her head. Enter her feelings for Astarion - adding even more to her worries with his thirst for power and protection.
There is quite a lot of smut in this and I've linked the chapters with sex in the notes! Plot is a re-write of the game in journaling format. Lorelei writes down her experience as she goes. (Astarion takes the pen in later chapters, as well.)
