Summary
You were slumped against the wall in your quarters, right in the entranceway. A windchime of vertebrae strung from the ceiling over your head. The door was locked; you had locked it. There were five deadbolts of bone, obviously an aftermarket addition by how overkill their attachment points were, shot above the lock; you had shot them all. Ash and bone decorations spiralled around the doorframe in arcane wads that made no sense to me. They added absolutely zero charm to the ambience, if you were wondering. Your body was here; I had no idea where you had gone. I was alone in you.

As she descended through each of seven gates, Ereshkibal commanded that all Inanna's armor, jewelry, and clothing be stripped item by item, which robbed her of her divine powers. At the last, she was flayed of even her skin and corpse, so that only her ghost remained.
