Nick doesn't remember the moment it dawned on him. That this radiant, beautiful boy was someone he liked. Someone he wanted to touch, to hold, to get to know. He doesn't remember that but he remembers seeing him run for the first time, catching him behind the drums during a rehearsal he walked by. Christ, of course Nick noticed Charlie Spring back then and of course he remembers him now. Charlie Spring is the reason he found a part of himself he didn't know existed.

Paris, 2024. The Summer Olympic Games. Thousands of athletes, each from different walks of life, united by a common objective: bring home the gold for their country.
Charlie Spring never thought he would be performing on such a large stage, even though he's one of the fastest sprinters Team Great Britain has to offer. Now that he's made it to Paris, though, he's determined to prove to the world (and himself) that he deserves to be competing among the best of the best.
He just can't let himself be distracted by the young star of his nation's rugby team, who befriends him after their paths cross on Charlie's first evening in the Olympic Village (and who he totally does not have a crush on).

He’s been following the account @nellie.wiggles on Tiktok for about three months, and honestly, he’s slightly obsessed with it.
In the beginning, it truly was about the dog. He swears.
The first time he came across the account, it was of a video of Nellie’s famous wiggles, a compilation of the beautiful border collie in many different locations, standing between someone’s legs and wiggling, stamping, and jumping. Not only had the trick been enough to make Charlie smile, but the little song her owner sang with the wiggles made his heart melt in his chest.
AKA The one where Nellie is popular on social media, and Charlie is a little bit in love with her human.
