Leopard!Shifter Wade Wilson is tasked with transporting and bodyguarding Fox!Shifter Peter to a super secret facility owned by one super creepy Norman Osborn.
Wade doesn't count on Peter trying to escape every damn minute, doesn't count on being sassed to within an inch of life and definitely doesn't count on being full on seduced by the damn Fox's bushy tail shortly before losing track of Peter altogether.
What's a big burly bodyguard supposed to do when he realizes he's actually working for the bad guys and Peter is in danger?
...get a little dangerous himself, of course.

Wade hates hospitals. The whole cancer thing and then the whole project X thing... yeah, no hospitals. The universe hates Wade, so into a hospital his unconscious and rapidly healing body goes.
Granted this is not how he thought things would end up. Really, he would not have guessed any of this by a long shot.“Stark’s eyes are brown, your’s are blue. If you’re not comfortable giving me your real name then fine, for now, but you should sooner or later.” She frowned. Typing something into her tablet. “I need to check your injuries one more time, try not to bite me. Ok Mr. Doe?”
“I’m fine, fit as a bran-spankin-new fittle. I promise.” Wade smacked the side of his head hard enough to force it sideways, he still had a massive headache but that was the only thing left from the couple rounds of hole punching done a few hours ago.
She winced at the form of self harm, “I still need to see them.”[Or: Wade meets May before meeting Spider-Man or Peter Parker]

The eyes that opened to peer at him were dark and nearly lifeless, cloudy with pain not quite dulled by the morphine. “You’re not my Peter.” The Wade on the bed rasped, his breath rattling through his lungs. “Which Peter are you?”“Which Peter am I?” he repeated dumbly. “I–what–um–”
“Multiverse, right?” Wade coughed and it was awful. “Always knew you would figure it out one day. What happened, did you and my Peter switch places?”
“No we– I mean yes, multiverse but I’m just here visiting and–” Peter didn’t even know what say, gesturing around to the various machines. “You’re sick. You’re sick and I– what happened? Are you okay? What happened to you?”
“Oh.” Wade smiled and it wasn’t anything like it should have been, weak and shaky and not near bright enough. “Let me guess– I’m not dying of cancer in your universe, am I?”

Summary
Thumbing at the swollen glands in his wrists, seeking relief from how sore they are, Pete heads back to the bedroom. He has just enough wherewithal left in his foggy brain to remember to flick on the scent neutralizing diffusers all through the little apartment. He doesn’t produce anywhere near enough silk to operate as Spider-Man, and what he does produce is released far too slowly to be of any use...but for this, it works for this. It hurts a little, a stinging pull, the scent glands in his wrists red and puffy, exacerbated by the passing of the silk.
The nest smells so intensely of Pete, it fills the whole walk in with an overbearingly cloying scent. It's not like a normal Omega scent, not enticing, it doesn't cry out to be bred. It's a warning, tells predators that what's inside is hostile and to be avoided. Smells like danger and the promise of death.
Pete gave up fighting this instinct on his second heat. His brain is telling him that he should be making a nest, that he should want soft things, that he should want to be in bed or in a blanket fort or some other sort of nest made of familiar things that all the other, normal Omega’s want.

Summary
Wade Wilson is a bad student. Poor grades, no attention span and not a soul to help him. Even if he tries to study he’s always distracted by his phone or a supernaturally attractive boy who showed up out of nowhere, whispering answers in his ear.
Peter, almost got into Harvard, Parker spends his time tutoring students. He’s smart enough and he’s got nothing else to do, so he might as well. But Wade’s different. He doesn’t seem to want Peter for his brain like everyone else, Wade cares about him.
Problem is, Peter isn’t normal. He’s a ghost.
