Summary
"Reigen finds Serizawa standing at the door of their apartment. Not an unusual thing in itself, but it’s too early for people to come calling. The sun is up, it’s not a workday… and the man on the other side of the door is talking to him in low tones. Reigen doesn’t hear what they’re saying, but Serizawa’s shoulders are tense, and his hand is clenched on the doorknob. Soft words pass between the threshold of their apartment, before Serizawa nods, thanks him, and shuts the door."
Death comes calling.

Summary
Being in a body again is weird. It’s always weird. Nothing ever quite fits, he’s either too big, too small; too vaporous, too solid. Dimple makes it a habit to only possess people when they really need it, or if he really needs it– like when he needed a meatbag to help get into Claw, or when those bullies were trying to pick on Mob, or the time with Mogami. Necessary times.
This time is necessary too.

Summary
Night falls on the carnival far too early for Tome, but she hardly notices with the girl made of sunshine and smiles at her side. Rainbow lights illuminate their faces as they move from game to game– they’ve got a system figured out and may or may not be using it to their advantage. Tome takes the games that require mindless throwing things or shooting toy guns, while Rei takes the ones involving chance and guessing patterns.
Having a clairvoyant friend (crush) sure comes in handy for stacking up prizes and getting randomly flustered.

"Complex eyes can distinguish shapes and colors. The visual fields of many organisms, especially predators, involve large areas of binocular vision to improve depth perception. In other organisms, eyes are located so as to maximize the field of view, such as in rabbits and horses, which have monocular vision.”

Summary
Tome’s not sure she’s ever had a best friend before. Sure, those guys she knew in the telepathy club were cool, and the people she knows now are fun, but… they’re not really her best friends. Even in her childhood, friendships burned out fast, like a match soaked in gasoline– nothing stuck, nothing meaningful, nothing worthy of calling ‘best friend.’ Sometimes, on bad days, she thought that maybe she’d never have one– who’d wanna be besties with someone like her anyways? She’s loud, obnoxious, weird, can’t fit in no matter what she tries… it hurts sometimes, but she does take comfort in the fact that at least she can make friends, whether the relationship is long lasting or not.

Tome comes to a realization.

Summary
Ritsu can’t help it if he stares. It’s just too bizarre not to. Because one moment his life is in order and everything’s set aside in their perfect little containers of ‘normal’, and the next moment his brother’s gone and thrown all those little containers onto the floor, a tumbled mess that Ritsu has no hope of cleaning up anytime soon. It’s infuriating, it’s a surprise, it’s just a plain old mess.
...Maybe he’s being a little dramatic.
But still.
He can’t shake the feeling that this is a little unexpected for his brother.---

Summary
“Woah there, kiddo,” Tome says with a chuckle, patting him on the shoulder, taking him by surprise. “Breathe. Shouting is good but maybe tone it down a little.” Mob agrees wholeheartedly, but just smiles in sympathy and starts writing some client information down.
“What?” Reigen asks. Loudly.
“Tone it down a little!” Tome says. Also loudly.
He blinks at her. Blinks at Mob. Blinks back at her. “What?”---
Mob learns a lot about his coworkers, and learns a lot more about himself in the process.
