Rhea never signed up for this kind of nonsense, she would have been much happier without this madness (preferably also with an annulment of her marriage to Daemon). This is undoubtedly the fault of her husband and his family but now her fate and theirs is united for the gods.

Especially when he decides to be a good husband.This story was supposed to be a short romance, and now I find myself analyzing the entire politics of Westeros. Sigh.

Mostly book canon, but I love Emily Carey so much—she will always be Alicent in my heart, and her acting has influenced my views on Alicent x Rhaenyra too much to ignore.
