the way this fic altered my brain chemistry...
i can TASTE keiji's loneliness on my tongue -- the way he longs to have a connection, /REAL/ loving connection, and how osamu is willing to give him that since the first time they met at bokuto's party. and the bonding over food. and how relatable it is to pick up the interests of someone in whom you're interested.
i also love the pace and how the setting is served, it's like sipping on a cup warm tea, strolling around japan with them. feeling warm with them. feeling loved.

“Oh, no, Sir Todoroki,” Izuku shakes his head, and he glances aside to the pond he has recently fled; his sketchbook papers catch on a lazy breeze, blown across the surface like bleeding lily pads.
Shouto’s gaze only hardens.“Sir Todoroki is my father,” he says stoically, and Izuku fights to ensure his cringe doesn’t display on his face – not too evidently, at the very least. “Even in his absence, that title is reserved for him alone.”
In which Shouto is the son of a wealthy nobleman, and Izuku is the stableboy who shovels his horse's messes. And perhaps has a hidden talent, as well - one which Shouto finds particularly fascinating.

AAAAAAAAH THIS FIC IS THIS FICCCCCCCCCCCC IS MORE THAN PERFECT its so beautiful and it's languid, it's soft, it's spilling like melted gold and i have never wanted anything more in a krbk fic, this is everything i've ever needed. i read this in 5 days, because the words are SO BEAUTIFUL like that and it's the best. i can quote just so many paragraphs and the dynamics are amazing and the description of FEELINGS GOT ME OH MY GODDDDDDDDD let me tell you, if you ever secretly fell in love with you best friend, this fic... it captures it all to the most miniscule way i just.... i can't english. god bless the author. please, god bless them.

Two fingers under Eijirou's jaw tipped his head up, and he met Bakugou's curious gaze. "What's up with you?"
Eijirou tried for a smile, shaking his head. "Nothing! I-I just, this is- it's really nice. This is really nice. I don't want it to end."
Bakugou's expression eased at that, looking at Eijirou with the softest look he had ever seen on the guy, eyes half-lidded and face calm and...there was something else. Something like when Bakugou saw cats, something like when Bakugou was reading books he liked. And while Eijirou was getting so lost in the gaze and trying to figure it out, Bakugou was leaning in and pressing his lips to Eijirou's so softly that for the moment, Eijirou forgot to panic. Maybe it was because he was really starting to think that this was a dream, but he closed his eyes and let Bakugou kiss him, again and again.
Eijirou knows something's wrong with Bakugou but he doesn't know what, and the guy's shutting him out. It's later when he's sleepy and ready for bed that he types in the code '1610' to open his dorm room's door, or at least he thinks it his, and he finds out. Oh, he finds out way more than he bargained for.
