Ash and Eiji welcome an addition to their little family one night.
“Look, I think you and I need to have a conversation.” Ash tells him in a serious tone, petting his ears with both hands. Buddy almost looks like he’s going to burst from enjoyment. “Are you trying to steal my husband from me? Because, I get it, Eiji’s the most lovable person on Earth. But I feel like you’re forgetting that he’s my husband.”
Buddy lies down on the floor for a belly rub.
Ash sighs, giving him what he wants. “Buddy, please. I’d appreciate if you could take this conversation more seriously. You’re being disrespectful now.”

Summary
My favorite part about all of this is how this is supposed to be a slice of life manga, but that was thrown out the window the moment the giant green robots appeared out of nowhere.
Would Saiki admit to maybe regretting his life choices right now? No. He'll admit to definitely regretting his entire existence at this point. He'll admit to acting on a complete and utter whim under the thought of 'doing this for the greater good.' Good grief, why did he want to act for the greater good when the greater good didn't even want him? The greater good is so far off right now pluto is his next-door neighbor compared to it.
So yeah, obviously he's having quite the adventurous day.
Or: His name is Saiki Kusuo, and he's a normal, everyday quirk-user without a thing out of the ordinary with him.
Except for the part in which almost that entire sentence was a lie, and it doesn't take a genius to guess the only part that's the truth.

Summary
Since leaving rehab almost five years ago, Klaus has built a peaceful life for himself, slowly recovering from the trauma of his childhood and the damage that Reginald's experimentation inflicted upon him.
So, of course, by the nature of being a Hargreeves, that means it's time for everything to go wrong.

And, despite his best intentions, he is once again swept up in the life of a superhero⏤ something he thought he'd left behind for good.
