Fabulous and rich AU and the sex scenes are wonderful!! Yume16 commented:
I like your characters, and I love your John. He's amazing. Sherlock, of course, is Sherlock and therefore automatically amazing. He just is. And I loved that scene where he changes his posture into military, and Blackwood (?) commenting how it was weird. I'd be amazed like John. That's awesome. Awesome stuff you've got going on, and I can't wait to go on and read more.

I've seen some of the notes that you added in about the plot and sex and whatever, and frankly, my dear, ignore them all. The plot is fine from where I'm sitting--I've enjoyed this for both the plot and the sex. So there you go. It's all good. :)

I like your Mycroft as well. The scene with him and Sherlock working together was quite good. And the dog tags for Sherlock were an excellent addition. I approve. I liked the detail where you had Mycroft lying down and -shocker- not in all of his clothes. We don't get that in the BBC series, so it was interesting to have an image of him where he'd shed his jacket and was not vertical. Good one with that.

Your military detail is quite impressive as well. I've enjoyed that. It's not surprising, but I love how Sherlock is an awesome shot. :) I thought you'd have him learn Dari, or just, you know, casually pick that up, now that Hinde (sad face) is gone. That's fine though. The crack-shot is more impressive and more useful, and I think that is something that's important to his character.
I also like how Sherlock seems softer in your story. Of course, as soon as I thought about it, it's really not that he's softer, it's just that everyone else is as insane as he is, and so by comparison, he seems more normal and well-adjusted. It's an interesting thought. Because of course he wouldn't go for the army. He'd never have the patience and the humility to put himself in that position for very long. But skipping ahead to the front lines and the danger? That suits him very well. So really, I think that all of this has come together very well and suits the characters quite adeptly. :)

Well done, and I'm looking forward to going on to read more.
This comment just said it all so perfectly, I had to add it here.

Dices your heart into neat cubes, crushes it with a hammer, runs it thru a meat grinder a couple times, lays it out to dry a little before grinding it into a fine paste, then mixing it into a nourishing soup to keep you going before smacking you upside the head and mixing the leftover heart broth into a pot pie, hitting you in the face with said pie and then making everything all better so you can have a good laugh about it. Yeah, like that.
