“You look like shit,” he shot quickly, the way Kageyama felt clearly apparent in his appearance. “What? Not enough beauty sleep?” he cooed, the mocking tone entangled with his words.
Kageyama frowned. His body urged him to move, but his feet remained firmly planted in place as he fought with his omegas calls. Instead, he glared back weakly at the taller man. Hinata shifted in place on the counter where he sat, suddenly restless and unable to sit still. Opening his mouth to rebut, he was quickly cut off by the wave of cedar and oak laced with petrichor. His body tensed, eyes fixated on Kageyama’s tired, flushed face. The smell was heavy and thick as it filled the room, entire body suddenly on fire as his heart sped in his chest. The feeling zipped through him, a shiver running down his spine and straight to his cock.

“He’s in heat.”
