This came from two different posts of mine. One was wondering why there aren't that many fics of Ed having a bunny rabbit named Wolf. The other was me realizing during a s1 rewatch that Stede invented free libraries. So poof! Modern AU where Stede puts a free library outside his house, Ed rescues a bunny rabbit, and they all live happily ever after.
