Summary
Childe and Zhongli’s friendship is unlikely, with one being an impulsive, confident, and adventurous billionaire who’s friends with virtually everyone and sought after by more, and the other a quiet, reserved, and introverted old soul who says “please” and “thank you” to leaves on the sidewalk. And yet, they get along with one another better than anyone else. They’ve been friends for years and found themselves in their own troublesome dilemmas at the same time.
Childe, a young CEO of the multi-billion dollar company “Fatui”, is dealing with more inappropriate gestures and remarks in regards to him being single than he cares for. Zhongli, a consultant of the Wangsheng Funeral Home, is going through a financial crisis, with every possible liability hitting him at once. When ranting to each other over drinks one night, they come to the most absurd solution to both of their problems: pose Zhongli as Childe’s boyfriend and sugar baby, just until everything settles, of course. Childe has more than enough money to spare, Zhongli doesn’t mind helping a friend in need, and their arrangement is flawless. At least, it appears to be that way.

While Aether had a hunch they liked each other for a while, this was still surprising, especially considering how much they fought over his time. He’d heard of two of the same sub-gender getting together before, but these two were especially territorial. And, if they were a couple, why were they still insisting to help him through his heat?
Aether wondered how they came to this agreement as he smiled through his confusion. “Congratulations for getting together. B-But… I’m confused. If you’re a couple, why did you ask if I need… help? ”
“Oh, that’s quite simple,” Zhongli smiled. “It’s part of the contract I made, actually.”
“To sum it up, we decided that, as a couple, we won’t be selfish but rather share everything as a unit in equal balance,” Childe added on. “You know, housework, date planning, and everything else. It helped solve a lot of territorial disputes, too.”
That was nice, but it didn’t explain anything-
“That’s why we agreed to share you too, Aether.”
OR: Omega Aether returns from Inazuma to visit Liyue, his heat starts early, and alpha Childe and Zhongli offer to both help him through it.
