Summary
Little is known about Viserra Targaryen. She was the most beautiful of Queen Alysanne Targaryen's daughters, a vain, wild, and ambitious girl. When she was fifteen, her mother betrothed her to Lord Manderly, a man old enough to be her grandfather. No one was willing to speak against the match, so she tried to seduce her widowed brother, Baelon and gain her freedom. Unsuccessful and resigned to her fate, Viserra snuck out with her friends for one last night of laughter. On their way back, there was an accident, and the Princess fell from her horse and died.
Or: Viserra did not die that night, and instead, the Fourteen Flames showed her the horrors of the future. Forewarned, she will stop at nothing to protect those she loves.

Chapter 7 preview:
She is warm when she wakes, snug into the comfort of a heavy arm around her waist.
Rhaenyra floated in between wakefulness and slumber. The dream that clung to her like honey persisted for a few fleeting moments — light laughter, a dimpled smile, and a soft voice that she hasn’t heard in years.
Laenor. The memory of him pulled her right into the land of the living with an acute, dull ache that made her want to sit up and gather her wits about her.
Her eyes watered quickly. She held a babe in that dream, with Laenor beside her, his arm around her shoulders. He has your eyes. The babe was her boy, Joffrey, whole and healthy.
Rhaenyra drew a shaky breath. After all the years that had passed, she could hardly remember what they looked like anymore.
Her companion stirred beside her, too sensitive to her shift from peaceful rest. The arm around her tightened for a moment, a hand sliding against her belly.
“It is too early to wake,” said Daemon, his voice rough from sleep.
