"So," he starts, "I, uh, have a surprise." She can tell he's nervous by the way his cheeks tint pink and the light chuckle that slips out.
"Surprise? And here I thought you just wanted to study," Gina says, amusement coloring her voice.
"Yeah, a surprise." He lets go of her hand, stepping behind her to cover her eyes and grabbing hold of her hand with his free one. Guiding her through his tiny apartment.
"Is this necessary, Ricky," she asks, the amused lith still present in her voice. "I have been here before. Several times before, actually."
