Summary
The unfortunate truth of being a hero is that saving the world is not the same thing as fixing the world. Saving the world is brute strength and unbreakable determination and animal desperation and the knowledge that failure will only lead to the swift, sudden end of all you love. Fixing the world… is slow. It’s picking yourself up out of the rubble and rebuilding what was lost, knowing it can never be quite the same.
Heroes save the world. People fix it.
And MK can't quite tell if he's the same person anymore.

He sits up and sees the warrior sitting and sobbing, holding the broken mask in his hand and staring at, where Lloyd assumes, the broken photo is. He’s facing away and Lloyd can't see his face. Slowly, Lloyd walks around to the front of the warrior.
And as he does so, he finally gets a good look at him and—Lloyd freezes, dropping his sword.
“Arin.” Lloyd breathes out, and his world is spinning.

Summary
Lloyd was getting pretty sick and tired of getting kidnapped by snakes and evil scientists and nindroid armies, let alone all three at once. The only way it could be worse was adding his dad, a time machine, or a ghost.
Way to jinx it.
Morro was perfectly miserable suffering through his afterlife in the Departed Realm, avoiding sage life lessons from the annoyingly persistent Sensei G. He was not expecting to be resurrected by a crazy mad scientist set on taking over all sixteen realms. He was even less prepared to face the green ninja - Lloyd - again, injured and imprisoned.
So, he has a choice to make. Help the good doctor burn Ninjago to the ground, or do something crazy and stupid.
FSM, Garmadon must be rubbing off on him.
