Jean Kirstein is fine, absolutely fine. Sure, the world maybe ending in front of his eyes, most of the people he grew up with are dead and he's now a captain of the 105th Survey Corps against his will, but he is *fine*. And he definitely doesn't lose what's left of his sanity when his friend he was inexplicably attached to despite not knowing each other for long, who died rather gruesomely 10 years ago is recovered. Alive.
In other words; i slaughter and cook up canon into a disgusting stew of utter nonsense to rival the actually canon utter nonsense that I barely paid attention to in order to write a silly little omegaverse story about one of 14 yr old me's first OTPs
