Carmy wiped his hands on the dish towel over his shoulder before helping Syd back to bed. She tried to protest but the coughing fit and sniffles gave away just how much she needed to rest. He might’ve ruined any chance of her staying but that didn’t mean he couldn’t take care of her and leave her with at least one good memory of him.
