“Hey, can I put your hair up?”
“I –“ Jade blinks, dazedly like she hasn’t quite understood.
“I’m going to tie your hair back, okay?” Kit reiterates.
“Can’t cuz you’ll get sick.” Jade whines, pouting like a little kid denied their favourite toy. She never whines, and Kit is absolutely sure Jade was aware she had been holding her hair seconds ago.
“Please let her do it kid.” Ballantine says from the other side of the bed, wetting and wringing a cloth and flipping Jade’s arm so he can place it on her wrist. “Fever’s a bit lower.” He says under his breath. “Kit’s going to stay here with you while I clean this out.”
The sound of her own name takes her aback, but Kit takes to her newfound responsibility like a duck to water. If the duck was dying of panic.

Summary
In the battle at the Pitiless Pass Kit is injured by Ballantine, and then in true disaster fashion doesn’t tell anyone. Making everything a hundred times worse because blood loss isn’t good for you… but sometimes you are worried about your girlfriend who just had to kill her possessed adoptive father/mentor and already feel like a burden. Basically an excuse to put Kit and Jade through more stuff and explore that arc.

Summary
Some elements I think would have been explored in season 2 in a fic. Bavmorda torments Kit, we learn about what Jade would see in the wyrm realm, the cuirass shows some unexpected abilities, Hubert and Ann are definitely fae, and mostly this is 3k of Jade and Kit being soft for each other in some dicey situations.

Summary
The two of them have been out on the range for near a month now, splashing in river water and chasing after cattle and the money's been good but the creature comforts have left something to be desired. Kit's whole body feels almost itchy with it. "Think I might shell out for one of those baths," they murmur.
Jade smiles. It's a real one now, small and secret, her eyes dancing playfully across the expanse of Kit. "You're dusty enough. Sure to get your money's worth."

Summary
They take care of each other. It’s what they always said, more than they said I love you. And here Kit is, asking Jade to lay a hand on her without any of the gentleness she's accustomed to. Not to manhandle her, not to put her in her place like they playfully do.
Kit wants Jade to hit her.
“No.”
“Jade-“
She remembers Kit's fingers pressing old bruises and smiling through bloody teeth, shoulders up by her ears when Sorsha said they were crooked, asking if Jade had broken her nose.
Did I? She wonders again. The thought makes her want to throw up.

TLDR; Kit wants to try something new, Jade isn't so sure she should.
A little fic for the first time the girls get into the dom-sub dynamic and specifically incorporate impact play into it. It would fit somewhere after my daddy kink fic and before the little wet series.

Kit was on fire. Her blood boiled with want. Jade sat across from her on a log by the actual fire, and her eyes burned just as brightly as the flames. Fucking around around in the Feywild had led to finding out. Their feet were planted firmly on Exandria once again, but the ‘price’ set by that Fey satyr man was finally kicking in. Garnelie. An odd man with an odd name, and an odd definition of amusement.
