Being invited to be Konoha’s historian, Athena didn’t think she’d stay the whole month. It was still a surprise to her sometimes that she’d said yes to the offer at all.
If you’d told her even an hour before the offer was presented to her, she would’ve cackled at the thought, but it was amazing what a lazy genius was able to accomplish sometimes without even trying.Although they had both felt the initial spark, neither Shikamaru or Athena were very good at just letting a good thing happen, constantly fighting the unknown force that was intent on pushing them together.
So the main question now was whether they’d accept their feelings, or if their relationship will die as a ‘what if’.

Summary
He wasn't as bad as you thought he'd be–just a normal, slightly obnoxious boy. Naruto didn't leave a good impression on you before, being something annoying in the back of your mind, constantly shouting and ruining Iruka-sensei's classes. Now though, you couldn't quite understand why everyone seemed to hate him so much.

Summary
The Uchiha clan is known for protecting their sacred sharingan. The easiest way to do that is to keep things within the clan. Pair that with the fact that the Chief family line think they’re better than the rest of the clan and it leaves only one option; Doing everything to keep the bloodline clean. Over the years, that’s mustered an ‘interesting’ relationship between Itachi and his younger sister. What would the life be for the clan’s Princess with a constantly stressed, frustrated, and protective older brother? What about her younger brother that can’t help but envy Itachi? Or her father that has an obsession with keeping her pure and perfect until his oldest son takes over the clan?

Summary
Republic City is, in your opinion, grimy. It's all dirty fumes, shady gangs, loud engines, and walls that need repainting on every corner. Even the air is a little too cold to be comfortable. It's nothing like Caldera, with its slanted architecture and red skies.
But at least the embassy has decent food. So instead of heading straight home, you tuck your bag over your shoulder, lock the office door, and head down the grand staircase to stop by the night counter for a bite to eat.
Which is exactly where the stern-faced young detective with sharp amber eyes is waiting for you.
"I'm sorry-" you shake your head in confusion. "You want me to spy on the ambassador? You want me to spy on my own father?"
Mako seems unfazed. "Yeah."
"But I don't... Why?"
Is this really happening? This seems too much like one of the new movers.
"Because," he replies solemnly, "there's something big going on. Not spirit or army-level bad, but corrupt. Fucked up. And it's spreading."
