Summary
“What Yoba wills is what will be. There’s no going against what is written for you.”
Sebastian's grandma was always the superstitious kind. All the elders of Stardew Valley were, believing in a deity of the earth and life alike. They attributed the oddities of the valley to him and praised him for abundance and life, no one questioning only subservient despite the odd howls in the wind and eerie creatures which lurked at every corner. So when a struggling city boy feigning interest in his grandfather's old property strolls on in one would think he would be deterred by the craziness this town was so deeply intertwined with- and yet why had it come to feel as though the farmer himself was the source of the land's mystery?

Summary
Izuku Midoriya was a jumpy and scarred young man. Everyone seemed to have wrote off the scars as the side effects of his quirk, for he was essentially breaking himself each time he used it. After years of having such a dangerous quirk, it only made sense that his olive skin would be graced with jagged pink scars. It wasn’t possible that the new bruises he came to school with were from anything else. He was a boy who had everything: a roof over his head, food, a good education... How could someone as blessed as Izuku ever have something going on behind the scenes? It didn’t make sense. For years, Izuku’s suffering went unnoticed.
Midoriya Hisashi truly was the master of deception, he had shocked himself with just how amazing he was at lying. It seriously did amuse the older man to watch young Izuku slowly break without anyone batting an eye. After beating his own son mercilessly, the older man still kept a charming smile on his face as he joyfully made his way through life. He seemed to have loved everyone and everything, but his own child. Oh what Izuku would give just to experience the love of a father.

Summary
Anthony D'Angelo was no good, he wasn’t worthwhile nor was he destined for greatness. Those were all lies that died with his mother, and now he’d have to pay the consequences for ever believing in them. Distant memories of a piano and written lyrics haunted him as he made his way through his pitiful life, which at the age of twenty was coming to a rapid decline. He was a druggie, a homosexual, and an utter disappointment stranded in the middle of NYC, with a fucked up pimp posing as a partner, an even more miserable love life, and ties in places he shouldn’t have ever had ties in. Still, a small speck of him remained which yearned to do something worthwhile, something that’d be praiseworthy yet genuine, something good and pure. His struggle was sickening, but with the feigned innocent guidance of a charmingly mysterious yet handsome writer from New Orleans just next door he may think his aspirations could become a reality. A wannabe singer who is damned to live life as a crack whore and a twisted writer with bloodied hands aren't quite a match made in Heaven but maybe the heavens weren't meant for them anyway.
