On January first of said year, as he hangs up the new calendar on the wall of their shared bedroom, Jeremy flips to the very end of it and circles that date in red sharpie.
“What’s that for?” Mick asks.
“Don’t worry about it,” Jeremy replies.
He lets the rest of the pages fall, and the subject drops with them.
