"Char, please, let's try again." His eyes were dark and intense, burning with something that Charlie couldn’t place.
"Or, counteroffer: let's have a conversation about what the hell is happening right now."
"What's happening is I'm trying to get laid, and you're being weird about it."
"Oh, I'm being weird about it?" Charlie asked, raising his eyebrows. "I'm not the one who just stormed into our flat and requested a sex act that I thought we'd agreed neither of us were interested in. What's going on, Nick?"
