Summary
Urizen decides to investigate after his instincts pull him towards a recovering Nero. He takes said Nero to the growing tree, deciding that leaving a defenseless nestling that is clearly his alone with humans was a bad idea.
AKA- an AU where the author fucks up lore, time, and the solidity of the story for the sake of instinctual Urizen brainrot.
AKA- Urizen being a little more demon instinct headcanon-y, Nero being held captive by Urizen (from Nero’s perspective, at least), and everyone else being a bit slower to beat Urizen as a result.

Lines of men in white armor marched in, following a more orderly formation than Luke had ever seen amongst Jabba’s people. The two lines separated to line each side of the room, before turning to face each other in sync. The room felt colder, somehow. A shadow fell over the open doorway, and Luke held still as he watched from his tank, frozen in place like all of Jabba’s people, as a figure in all black strode through the doorway.
“Lord Vader,” Jabba said, his translator repeating after him in basic, “welcome.”

Diluc raised his head and regarded him coolly. “You are my responsibility. I’ll do with a traitor what I see fit.”
A traitor. He’d accused Kaeya as much during the fight, but it was so much worse hearing it stated calmly and factually.
“And what is the plan, exactly?” he asked, showing not a hint of his internal discord. After a lifetime of deception and lies, it was second-nature for him to conceal his feelings. “Are you going to be my executioner? Or are you intending to give me a life sentence?”
Diluc subdues Kaeya following his confession and locks him in a room while he tries to figure out what to do with him. Kaeya learns what he loves, what he fears, and that the two can co-exist.

"It's not a question of whether or not you can defend yourself, Kaveh; I know you can take care of these imbeciles. This is merely retribution for their treachery." Alhaitham states indifferently as he stares down at the bloodied man lying on the decking, "They know full well not to touch what's mine."
(After his work in Sumeru is completed, Fatiu Harbinger Alhaitham is set to return to Snezhnaya; however, he is not about to leave without his most prized possession.)
