The first time Viktor kissed Jayce, it was a quick peck on the cheek, followed by a casual conversation. The next time it's on the lips, but then it's back to talk about formulas. Jayce concludes it must be a cultural thing, and also starts to kiss Viktor back. Everybody else is confused.
A story of two friends kissing each other, who are definitely not boyfriends.

The pause is long—probably only a few seconds, but as he stands there with his head bowed and listens to Viktor take in a breath, it feels like ages.
Viktor’s voice is tentative when it rings out again. Softer. He wants to claw out the pity and replace it with something else—something he doesn’t need to hide from. “Are you alright?”
His voice is stuck in his throat. Jayce opens his mouth to respond, but nothing comes out. 'No,' he wants to say. 'No, I need you.'

Buck leans in so close that Eddie can feel his breath on his cheek when he asks, “Hey, are you sure you’re alright?”
“I’m fine,” Eddie lies.
And it doesn’t matter that he feels like he’s dying. Like the version of himself that he’s always been is suddenly a stranger to him - just a mask he’d spent his entire life hiding behind, without ever even realising he was wearing it. It doesn’t matter that Eddie is…that he’s gay. Because he knows - as surely as he knows that the sun will rise again tomorrow - that the only person he has ever, and will ever, truly love is Buck.
And Buck isn’t his to love.
