Every single eye was on Gavin and, more specifically, the shiny new android trailing behind him as soon as the glass doors to Fowler’s office closed.
It was like stepping directly into a spotlight, and Gavin resented it.
Despite popular opinion, Gavin didn’t like attention. The amount of times he’d gone off in the precinct definitely contradicted this, but he couldn’t help his short temper.
Gavin surprisingly didn’t often go looking for trouble, it was more like trouble found him.

As he sat there, in cryopod, freezing into a, hopefully, forever sleep, he seethed.
Seethed at the fact that Jimmy, his best friend and co-pilot had betrayed him in such a way, him and the crew...dear lord, the crew.
Oh how he wished he could do it again, how he could stop himself from trusting Jimmy instead of Anya.
Wished to be able to hurt Jimmy back, the way he had him, the way he had ALL of them.
And so as, before falling asleep, he prayed, prayed for the first time in his life, for a chance to make it right.
And so he was given one.

Summary
Lets smash Karlach and Astarion’s act 2 romance scenes together, shall we? Starts off just in Astarion's own head then lots of back and forth talkies between the two.
Astarion’s manipulation efforts on Karlach to make sure she'll never turn on him have been working amazingly! Even though he wasn’t able to really give it his best efforts due to the whole ‘unable to touch her’ thing. But now she’s got her engine fixed, so she can touch people! This is great. Right? Astarion is very confused why he is feeling so very weird about at this turn of events. Meanwhile Karlach is so fucking happy she can touch people and, after hugging the shit out of everybody she can get her arms around, she’s super jazzed to be able to finally take Astarion up on his offer for a ‘night of passion’. One problem: where the fuck did he go?

Summary
Upon returning from Avernus, with Karlach’s engine finally fixed, Astarion and Karlach make a home together in Baldur’s Gate. A domestic experience that neither expected to have the option of choosing, let alone being able to enjoy.
They spend a nice evening in together and eat in bed.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that a home occupied by two messy bastards has a bed covered in crumbs.
