Tras derrotar a Cassandra junto a Wade, Logan se dio cuenta de que tenía que adaptarse a aquel nuevo universo en el que ahora vivía. Para su suerte, Wade estaba dispuesto a hacer todo lo posible para ayudarle a que sintiera aquel universo como suyo.
Si alguien le hubiera dicho a Logan hace medio año que estaría compartiendo piso con otro hombre que no podía morir al igual que él, una anciana ciega, y una perra que le confirmaba que, si existía Dios, era cruel por dejarla así, se habría reído en la cara de la persona para decirle que le dejara seguir bebiendo tranquilo.
Pero el mundo nunca dejaba de darle sorpresas, y allí se encontraba: en un universo paralelo al que nació y viviendo una vida completamente distinta a la que siempre imaginó para él, una mejor de la que creía merecer.
