During repairs to the Enterprise, Spock must help McCoy cope with the remarriage of his ex-wife and how that affects his relationship with his daughter.
Some references to alcohol use and suicidal thoughts at the start but this is not the main focus of the story. There are also discussions of sex, though I don't think enough to justify a mature rating.
