Summary
Fleeing Daiyu, Obi-Wan and Leia are joined by an unexpected ally: Maul, who was in the city on Crimson Dawn business when he got word of the bounty on the enemy he had long believed perished after Order 66 was enacted. With Darth Vader and his Inquisitors on their tail, Obi-Wan and Maul form a fragile truce.
Single-mindedly intent on revenge against his former master, Maul takes the opportunity to teach Leia to wield the Force and press Obi-Wan into joining him in the fight against their common enemy. But Obi-Wan, haunted by nightmares and morbid echoes, insists he’s no longer the fearless Jedi Master the galaxy remembers.

Summary
Heart pounding, Fives darted behind a tall stack of haphazardly piled crates. Through them, he saw Commander Tano jump off a speeder bike and examine her surroundings. Suddenly, she ignited her lightsaber and leapt into the air again. Fives tensed.
The distinct scream of a probe droid sounded, and the Commander grimly stamped its memory circuits out. The jumbled knot in Fives's chest loosened ever so slightly.
Because Barriss's plan takes a little longer to execute, Ahsoka is still in the Jedi Order when Fives discovers the truth about the inhibitor chips. Fierce and unwavering, her faith in him alters the course of the Clone Wars and the fate of the galaxy.

Summary
For the rest of SDC filming, when they're not out of town shooting endorsement ads or doing interviews, they’ll end up in each other’s room at night, exploring their bodies and then collapsing side by side.
But the moment they’re released back into the world, they’ll be pulled to opposite sides of the country—or the globe—with only brief texts and infrequent phone calls and even rarer video calls to rely on. Later, they’ll run into each other at photoshoots and award shows and other events, and be sure not to embrace for too long or say anything that gives them away, with cameras and microphones and paparazzi all around them.
It’ll be agonizing, and they’ll yearn endlessly for each other and those tiny stretches of privacy and intimacy they’re only able to achieve every few weeks.
Or: Yixing and Jackson through the years. No matter how challenging it is to balance their personal lives and the demons that haunt them with the public images they must maintain, they'll never give up on each other.
