It didn't matter. He was gone.
Kenobi was here, though, in his captivity on the way to Palpatine himself. Dooku wondered what Sidious’ plans for the boy were. Perhaps, if he argued his case fluently, Sidious might allow him to be trained as a Sith.
The real difficulty would lie in convincing Kenobi. But Dooku was confident. After all, who better than him to turn his own grandpadawan to the dark?
