Soulmate.
It was something Dick had truly prayed for. Someone who he could share a connection with on such a profound level that he could communicate without words. It seemed like a fairy tale, a story about people’s souls that were made for each other; souls that would connect on an elemental level and generate some power between the individuals in question. A power that could heal or destroy them, a tempest really, a raging storm within that demanded constant control if soulmates were to be in close proximity. A blessing and a curse, because a price had to be paid for something so powerful.

Summary
Oscar’s watching him. Lando can feel it, can feel Oscar’s intense gaze brushing over his skin. He ignores it though, fingers still pressing into the left side of his neck and his right hip. Oscar knows what’s there, hidden underneath makeup and clothes. Lando knows that Oscar knows too. That’s sort of why he’s doing it.
Of course, Lando’s gaining something from it too. Can’t be too selfless in the world of motorsports, after all. Then again, Lando supposes that his and Oscar’s relationship isn’t what’s expected from two teammates, but oh well. Lando and Oscar are happy with each other and really, isn’t that all that matters?
