“And the prodigal fugitive returns, find anything incriminating in my loo, or is breaking and entering just, light fun, after murder?” Tim asked, leaning so that his body blocked the only exit.

Reki shivered, debating for the millionth time if this was a good idea or not. Honestly, he didn’t want to do this, but his back felt like it was against the wall. He wiped his mouth off and knocked, leaning into the doorframe. It was late, but he could still see the lights on. He shivers, trying to force himself to smile, but he can only manage a grimace as Joe opens the door.
“Too late to get some dinner?” Reki asked, trying to joke.
Before Joe could even think through what he was seeing, Reki collapsed in the doorway of Sia La Luce. Whatever doubts he had, it was too late to turn back now.
