Summary
Throughout the multiverse all choices are realized. What was, what is, what could have been and what might be. Reed Richards and Victor von Doom seemed destined to be rivals, however an argument over science will show them that there can be another way.

Summary
Markus does a lot of things he doesn"t really want to do. Connor also does a lot of things he doesn"t want to do, but he has less agency. They probably shouldn"t be together, but they are anyway.
Revolutionary/violent Markus and former machine Connor, heavily sympathetic to both.

Summary
“We need help in hunting down an android who is murdering humans,” Simon explains succinctly.
“Fuck off,” Hank says, talking to nobody in particular, and runs a hand over his face. “Fine,” he eventually sighs. “I’ll get Connor.”
Alternatively: a vigilante android, UST, and Hank swearing.
(Eventual Markus/Connor. Warning you now, folks.)

Summary
“There must be some part of you still in there.”
It was almost pathetic the way Jayce wanted to drop to his knees. To stare up at the amalgamation he hardly recognizes and pray for a sign. As if there were a distant god other than the Herald, more powerful, to stop this madness. Of course, this was useless. A feeling Jayce was quickly becoming accustomed to.
Perhaps that was the fate Viktor wanted Jayce to feel. Useless as Viktor had bitterly expressed while standing next to Jayce at every inane council meeting of theirs. Utterly ignored as if he were just another empty chair at the table. Jayce finds himself reminiscing every moment that he could have been better to Viktor.
“I am more than I ever was.”
