Summary
Ben let out a groan as soon as the door to his room was closed, glancing at his watch to see that in a little over nine hours they’d be checking out and getting ready to drive back to their start point for the day. He still had time for a shower before he needed to sleep, and he was relieved. Despite it being the peak of summer, the amount of time he’d spent in the water had caused a chill to settle into his bones and his body to ache from exhaustion and overexertion, and just the thought of warm water running over him and soothing his muscles sounded nothing short of heaven.
He turned the shower on, letting the water heat up as he got undressed, before climbing inside and closing the door behind him.
