Summary
Sirius can't leave his goddaughter Harriet alone in the destroyed cottage, it's too dangerous, even if the Headmaster is probably on his way right now. But he also can't wait any longer, Peter's apparition trail is starting to fade, and he needs to catch the traitorous rat, needs to kill him.
But maybe there's a way.
Sirius' parents are dead, and Grimmauld Place is empty.
- "This is Harriet Potter, Dorea's blood," he said, watching his goddaughter, as Kreacher muttered something about mudbloods, "you will bring her to Grimmauld Place. You will treat her and care for her as if she was an heir of House Black."
Ok, good, she'll be safe there, and as soon as I'm done, I'll immediately pick her up and bring her to my home in Worcestershire. -

Summary
Hermione Granger had known she was adopted since she was a small child. Now, the witch thing, that had been a surprise. Strange things had been happening around her for years, but an entire world hiding away from the one she’d lived in her whole life. One thing she is not going to do, is complain about a whole world of knowledge being opened up to her (and, maybe, a chance to fit in with children her own age now her ‘outbursts’ would be normal).
She did wonder if this meant that one or both of her birth parents were magical, whether she would finally get answers about why they gave her up. It’ll have to wait of course, because no matter how small the magical community is there’s no way she’ll run into either of them in school! Right?

The Council had had less than three full days’ notice that Initiate Kenobi had been demanded back by his parents before the date their “emmisaries” were going to arrive to claim him. Three days hadn’t been much, not nearly long enough, but they’d tried.
Three days went by—more than enough time to reach Stewjon from Coruscant, even with the hazards in the densely populated Deep Core... Yaddle started to feel a sense of disquiet, of unease.
