Summary
When attorney Lee Minho was made aware of Han Jisung's case - the first vampire to stand trial for murder since the reveal of vampires to society - he knew it would be a bad idea to get involved. The public had already convicted him and the prosecution had a lot of hard evidence against him. Yet, he agreed to meet the potential client.
It was really downhill from then, because Jisung was innocent and he made Minho's heart bleed in more than one way. He had to fight to get him acquitted, no matter how impossible it seemed.

Summary
Fate was a fickle thing. It did not appreciate being taunted or twisted. It liked to do as it pleased without pesky humans-- or other creatures-- interfering with its fun. It took kindly to fae folk and their playful nature, and it appreciate a reaper’s dedication to fate’s decisions. It did not, however, take kindly to malicious humans trying to bend Fate’s will for themselves. It was like the wind that caressed flushed cheeks with soft fingers, enjoying the blush under its graze. It was like the wind that demolished and lacerated buildings in a swift, torrential anger, hurt by the actions around it.
Vampires (if wise, if old) had long since stopped trying to play with Fate. Nothing ever changed. It was better to ask and plead, for Fate was a vain, obsessive creature and loved to watch mighty creatures put aside their conceit and humble themselves. Fate would talk to some, so long as Fate liked them. It was rare, so very rare, but not quite a myth-- tales of Fate coming to creatures and speaking with them, asking their thoughts on decision. Very few were so lucky. Very few were liked. And that was a very, very dangerous game.
Or; Fate adores Bang Chan and gives him a family.

“You want my fingers?” It’s a useless question, but he doesn’t take it back. Hyunjin’s cheeks flush an even darker red, the rich color looking perfect against Hyunjin’s skin.
“Please.”
“What about Chan’s?” Minho wonders, only to smirk when a wicked thought enters his mind. “Maybe even Jisung’s?”
That gets a reaction. Hyunjin moans, words falling past his lips at such a rapid pace that Minho doesn’t understand more than half of it. But what he can pick out definitely includes tiny yess and pleases.
