The segyein caretakers were always so frustrated with him when he never made any friends. They couldn’t comprehend humans not getting along perfectly—they were the same species after all. This particular shortcoming was always Till’s own fault, of course. He’d be scolded for spending his time drawing and composing instead of exercising. Always alone.
Or, Till doesn't remember Ivan, not like he should.
