Summary
Out for a night of fun at the arcade, Wraith Squadron stumbles across a pilot they just can't seem to beat in the arcade sims. Curious, they decide to follow and investigate. The Wraiths turn an enemy into a friend. War isn't black and white.
Set after the events of Distna in Isard's Revenge and through Starfighters of Adumar and beyond. Romance, and sex in later chapters. Polyamorous relationships.

Summary
Wedge announces he is leaving Rogue Squadron to accept a post as aide to Admiral Ackbar and leaving Rogue Squadron in Tycho's hands. Wes has to face his feelings for Wedge which have been building since they started Wraith Squadron, and an attraction to his new CO he doesn't expect to feel. Wedge and Tycho discover they don't really know Wes Janson, at all. Throw them into a Sabacc tournament with too much alcohol, great food and well meaning busy-body Rogues and Wraiths and all hell breaks loose with the future happiness of three Rogues at stake.
Not sticking completely with Legends canon.

“Some of the things we’ve done, that I’ve done, for the Alliance and the New Republic, have come close, don’t you think?”
“No. We’re soldiers, Wes, not murderers. We’ve never killed where we haven’t had to, without good reason.” He’s always clung to this; on the dark nights before he’d defected, terrified he was as bad as the worst of the Empire; after missions for the Rebellion that went to hell and they’d come close to things he fears would be unforgivable. He’s always believed it. He has to believe it.
Wes finally looks up at him and Hobbie sees hollow exhaustion in his eyes. “I bet murderers think they have good reasons too.”
After disasters at Jussafet and Kidriff see Rogues and Wraiths targeting their own and the lines between enemy and ally blur, Wes and Hobbie must confront long-buried secrets, the ongoing emotional fallout from Talon Squadron’s demise and the painful truth that the hardest person to forgive is yourself.

Summary
MY PURPOSE , now complete, is to archive the epic series the Mellon Chronicles for readers to continue to enjoy. I do not claim authorship or ownership of any work in the Mellon Chronicles - that belongs to Cassia and Siobhan, and to Tolkien.
As readers may be aware, the original site at which the Chronicles were archived (aragorn-legolas.5u.com) has ceased to exist. I retrieved the all the stories from the online web archive Wayback Machine but I am unsure how much longer they will be available there either. So I am planning on re-posting them all here, in an effort to prevent them from disappearing from the internet altogether. There may be other sites where the works are also archived, but I could not find any from Googling.
In the series, you can find all of the stories in chronological order (that is to say, the order in which they appear in their entirety, not the order in which they were written).
If you appreciate being able to read the Mellon Chronicles here and, like me, do not want them to be lost, please comment and let me know. Thank you to everyone who has already done so, it makes me very happy to know that I'm not the only person who still remembers and enjoys these stories :)
