Yuuji has a gift. Okay. Not maybe a gift, since it's more like a curse, but with his life right now, using this word is kinda… You know. The thing is, he can see ghosts. Like, from the moment he could comprehend the reality around him, and the funny thing about ghosts is that they tend to try and use him somehow. His body, that is. So, learning from his own mistakes, he doesn't reveal his ability to anyone, dead or alive. But after becoming Sukuna's vessel, there is this beautiful male ghost with long black hair haunting Gojou-sensei, and Yuuji wonders what their relationship is, where the ghost disappears all the time, and... Why does he claim to still have a body? Isn't he supposed to be dead?!
Or: I gave Yuuji the ability to see ghosts so he could befriend Suguru and help him gain his body back. Hm? I did that because I like this trope? Of course not!
