If you could escape from the SEKAI into the real world and live like a human being—living, breathing, existing—you'd take the chance with only a tiny bit of hesitation. You'd feel guilty for abandoning the girls, but you're sure they'd understand in due time. You'd hope they'd understand, eventually.

"What's up with you?" And there it is, Ena's classic, tsundere, probing.
"Hm? What do you mean, Enanan?" Mizuki responds. They tilt their head to the side to sell their innocence.
"Don't give me that!" Ena snarls, "The moment you saw the fries, you looked like we pushed your dog off a cliff or something."
Mizuki gasps with perfect pitch, duration, and emotion. "W-what? Poor, poor, Fido! Why would y-you do that?" They fake a few sobs and try their best to cry some crocodile tears.
"I never knew you had a dog," Kanade says, with the barest hints of surprise etched into her face.
