Summary
Visits to Tamura Table Tennis, in four seasons.
Smile saves up a little money and buys Tamura Table Tennis a better TV in July, one that connects to a laptop. When it"s time for the Olympics, he plays the TV broadcasts of the table tennis games, and when they"re not on, he hooks up his laptop to show the online replays. The kids take to imitating Kong"s form and Peco"s bad habits, the former making Smile"s job easier, the latter irritating Smile on bad days and making him smile on the good days. The reporters call Kong by his Japanese name, and after a while it sounds natural. Kong smiles easily when they interview him about Japan"s loss in the gold medal match. Peco, at his side with his arm around Kong"s neck, still calls him China.
