Summary
What has happened to you in the last ten years? You met and married the love of your life, saw a lot of dead bodies and even cried over a few of them, maybe saved the world a time or two. A lot more happened in those ten years than what’s listed here, but you think those are the most important things.

The point is that the world has shifted on a personal and on a global level and those changes, whatever they may be and no matter which you consider to be important, aren’t all good or bad. It just so happens that in this particular case, the bad seems to outweigh the good by so much that the universe itself is conspiring to change the chain of events leading up to the present. Or at least, that’s how you see it.

Letting out an exasperated sigh, he shares an eye roll with Zeff, motions for one of the junior chefs to take over, and heads for what (or rather who) he just knows will be the source of the problem.

“Yes,” Reiju confirms. “And in order to cement the deal, my father is prepared to offer you several enticements as well.”
“Such as?”
She pauses, and for the first time in the entire conversation, Zoro thinks he sees a flicker of displeasure in her eyes. It vanishes before he can convince himself whether or not it’s real, though, after which her expression smoothes out into a mask of cool indifference.
