Summary
“Wow, my cranial queen, you really do care,” Gideon said, and Harrowhark levelled her with her best glare. Gideon just continued to smile.
“I cannot have my cavalier primary being abused by my marshal, as much as you deserve it.”
Gideon walked over – sauntered even, if that action was something one could imagine on Griddle’s form – and cocked her head to one side. She was wearing the paint, and Harrow could see the awful job Gideon had attempted in all its glory. And it was a glory. Harrowhark could hardly decide if she preferred the skeletal visage over Gideon’s actual, brown face.
“I would believe that, if you had come into the room with Crux. Where were you, Nonagesimus?”
“It is not your concern, Nav. Would you like to spar?”
Some things would never change.

Summary
Ianthe stormed through the door, ready to wallow in her misfortune with the only people who tolerated her in the entire world. Ready to find some way to have her words crawl inside Gideon’s ears and die, leaving the poor heir to the First – and former denizen of the Ninth, shockingly – with her head on the table. Ready to continue her endless mission to get inside of the Reverend Daughter’s heart – and maybe her pants.
Unfortunately for her, Gideon was up on stage. Even more unfortunately, Harry was entirely enraptured by Gonad’s awful performance.
Oh no. Ianthe recognised those eyes.
She looked around at the table as she sat down, for once avoiding the empty seat next to Harrowhark.
Oh no.
She was the only single person here.

Ianthe is the only person working for John Gaius that seems to be actually working. It's putting an immense toll on her social life.

Summary
“So, you two were friends?” Coronabeth asked. She managed to make the question seem scandalous. Gideon nodded.
“Yop,” Gideon said.
“No,” Harrow said.
Coronabeth laughed. Ianthe leaned forward, a vulture with carrion. Camilla kept her thoughts to herself, though Gideon was sure Palamedes knew them without even looking. Speaking of, Sex Pal adjusted his glasses and grimaced.
“Then what were you?” Corona asked, still smiling. It had taken Gideon a long time to realise that she was a vulture too. The twins were the unholy pairing of vulture and peacock – Coronabeth just got mostly peacock.
Harrowhark’s face was a mask. Long ago, Gideon might have been able to get glimpses beneath the black and white paint, beneath the vizard of the Reverend Daughter. Gideon watched her eyes absorb the light of the room, and gripped on to her leg to keep herself from tumbling in.
“We dated,” was what eventually emerged from Harrow’s thin lips.

Summary
'Imogen watched as Pâté climbed out of his little house and whispered something, probably vulgar, in Laudna’s ear. She laughed as Laudna spluttered and turned red, and Imogen was almost going to ask what the little rat had said, but Laudna got her words in first.
“Imogen?” she asked. “What are we?”
Imogen thought that was a silly question, and so with a coy smile, she gave a silly answer.
“We’re Laudna and Imogen?” she said.'
A missing scene where the girlies define their relationship.

Summary
“You’re thinking awfully loud back there Laud,” Imogen said, her voice rough and yet as beautiful as always. Laudna imagined a lesser woman would have been spooked. Instead, she just shook her head.
“Darling, you can’t hear my thoughts.”
“And yet,” Imogen yawned, rolling over to face Laudna. “I can still tell you’re thinking.”

Rachel's POV in a few key scenes, showing her deep care for Taylor and how she tries her best for her best friend.
"Bitch didn’t know how to respond. Only that her face felt warm and Taylor had put the spiders back in her stomach.
Tattletale left on Bentley, and Taylor left on Atlas, leaving Bitch alone with her dogs.
Alone with her feelings.
She didn’t like it."

Summary
Taylor should really just leave, but it's so hard to say goodbye.
"Two thoughts came to mind, as I stuck by Rachel’s side and helped feed her dogs. The first was that no straight girl had ever been as simultaneously jealous of and fascinated by the attractiveness of her bullies as I had been. The second was that I was definitely in love with Rachel."
