Eddie woke up to a large weight on his chest with the sun shining directly onto his face through the blinds. His bed felt different than normal. The mattress was stiffer and the pillows were hard, it wasn’t what he was used to. His back hurt, it felt like he was laying on top of something but he wasn’t sure what.
He flickered his eyes open letting them adjust to the sunlight. The first thing he noticed was the ceiling. It was a navy blue but his ceiling was white. The next thing he noticed was Buck.
Or: Eddie and Buck wake up in bed together the night after Chim’s bachelor party and try to retrace their steps to remember what happened.

Eddie thought he knew what he was getting into when moving to LA and accepting a job at the FBI. He had not expected frogs, a mad but very handsome scientist and a frankly insane amount of bones. Although the moment Athena Grant told him he would work in close collaboration with a forensic anthropologist, he should have seen at least the bones coming.
Is this a blatant ‘adaptation’ of Bones in the 9-1-1-verse? Absolutely. Do I care? Nope…
