Summary
Jung Hoseok didn't know whether he wanted to meet his soulmate. The concept of being connected to someone for the rest of their lives was a bit too much in his opinion. And him having seen the pain Jungkook and Yoongi had to go through when they found their soulmates freaked him out. So focusing on his career and his family seemed like a good idea rather than thinking about his soulmate.
Kim Zyra was happy not to have a soulmate. Not that she could have one even if she wanted. Being soulless got her different looks and attitudes but she thought it was a blessing in disguise. She was free, wild, and happy. Also, she could fully dedicate herself to her work. And she loved being a detective.
Fate must have had a beef with Hoseok and Zyra to make their worlds collide..

Chloé Bourgeois, traumatised and seen enough things to say she’s ‘seen it all’ by the ripe age of twenty-four, wakes up in her sixteen year old body in a world that wasn’t one of those horrible dystopian novels she’d read before everything turned to shit, when the world wasn’t overrun by a psychopathic maniac with a high for power.
Chloé Bourgeois wakes up in her sixteen year old body, watches as Marinette Dupain-Cheng flounders about trying to moonlight in spandex with her equally as floundering cat partner in faux-leather, and decides that she’ll be taking the reins. She’s seen her world go into ruins and she wasn’t about to sit back and let the same thing happen once again.
