Being in love with a demon was an inconvenient thing for an angel to be, especially since Aziraphale thought there was no chance of that love being returned. He had decided some time ago that Crowley was worth risking things for though and it was a decision he thought he had made peace with, even if he had done so mostly by not thinking about it.
